Hi Room 13, I loved listening to the movie you made about disabled people and our school. My class also thought that the ramp into our classroom could be improved, it is a bit uneven. We also wondered if the judder bars near Renwick house could be re-painted so they are more visually noticeable. I love your clear voices that you used on the video. I'll send this link to my class so we can check it out and they will let you know what they think!
We really liked your movie Room 13. Our class also found some of the same facilities to support disabled people as you - the bump leading to our classroom, the judder bar and the disabled toilets. George thought maybe a person in a wheelchair could still wheel up to the counter but they would find it hard to see over it. We never knew that a person in a wheelchair could never go to Reading Recovery! Well done, your movie was really cool!
Hi Room 13 I have just looked at your blog. Your presentation on Disabilities is fantastic. Your voices are clear and easy to listen to and your photographs are great. Well done. Teresa Room 10
Kia Ora Koutou! 2009 has started out by being an exceptional year...... Room 13 has 12 boys and 15 girls, all delightful. All the children are 6 or 7 years old. Our teacher is Lesley Kotua. We do lots of exciting things in Room 13.
